People
(November 2003)
People
of the month are eight Chinese girls this month. They were
pretty and young and full of dreams. They shared their tears
and laughters, pains and joys, frustration and prouds for
five years in college. However, it was ten years ago! Yes,
time flys and has changed everything, but their friendship.
At present, five of them live in Beijing; one lives in Chifeng,
Inner Mongolia; one is in San Francisco, California; and
two are in greater New York metropolitan area. No matter
how far they are apart, their hearts are always together.
They still are a group of beautiful, innocent, and warm-hearted
girls! Best wishes to each one of them!

Shen (Beijing).

and Chen Xiaohui; Back row: Chen Xi. Unfortunately,
the other three (Li Jun, Wang Lijun, and Li Shen)
were not able to join the rest of the girls on that day.
Li Jun and Wang Lijun planned the trip for the reunion in
May 2003. However, the reunion date has to be postponed
due to the SARS. They later found out that they both could
not make the China trip in November. Li Shen was missed
from the photo for business travelling in Gansu province.
She attended other activities for the reunion though. Hopefully,
it is not going to take another ten years for all of them
to get together.
